Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungus Funneliformis mosseae Improves Soybean Growth Even in Soils with Good Nutrition

چکیده

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) improve plant growth and may be useful in maintaining even restoring soil. However, data on the latter function are sparse only indirect, which is especially true for conventional management conditions with adequate nutrient availability. Our study focused utilizing prevalent AMF species, Funneliformis mosseae, to enhance Glycine max production, while also exploring its partly explored impact soil aggregation. Working greenhouse conditions, we examined whether, a nutrient-sufficient environment, would crop biomass accumulation nutrition, as well stability of aggregates (SAS). We looked synergistic effect dual inoculation using symbiotic rhizobium. Plants were or not inoculated Bradyrhizobium japonicum two-factorial design. increased soybean biomass, but had no P N input shoots. Mycorrhiza did affect either glomalin abundance SAS. All impacts were, however, independent from rhizobial inoculation, was ineffective this nutrient-available environment. assay suggests that arbuscular mycorrhiza have positive under nutrition. The effects growth, together fact generally do thrive good availability, should taken into account when planning mineral fertilization levels.

The Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungus Funneliformis mosseae Alters Bacterial Communities in Subtropical Forest Soils during Litter Decomposition

Bacterial communities and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) co-occur in the soil, however, the interaction between these two groups during litter decomposition remains largely unexplored. In order to investigate the effect of AMF on soil bacterial communities, we designed dual compartment microcosms, where AMF (Funneliformis mosseae) was allowed access (AM) to, or excluded (NM) from, a compart...

Production of Plant Growth-Regulating Substances by the Vesicular-Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungus Glomus mosseae.

Glomus mosseae, a representative species of Endogonaceae (Phycomycetes) able to form vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhiza, was investigated for phytohormone production. Spores of G. mosseae were axenically germinated in water, and the resultant mycelial growth was assayed by standard procedures for extracting plant hormones from microbial cultures. Paper partition chromatography and specific bioassa...

Xyloglucanases in the interaction between saprobe fungi and the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Glomus mosseae.

We studied the production of xyloglucanase enzymes of pea and lettuce roots in the presence of saprobe and arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. The AM fungus Glomus mosseae and the saprobe fungi Fusarium graminearum, Fusarium oxysporum-126, Trichoderma harzianum, Penicillium chrysogenum, Pleurotus ostreatus and Aspergillus niger were used. G. mosseae increased the shoot and root dry weight of pea...

Coordinated changes in the accumulation of metal ions in maize (Zea mays ssp. mays L.) in response to inoculation with the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Funneliformis mosseae Running title: Ionome of mycorrhizal maize

Arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis is an ancient interaction between plants and fungi of the phylum Glomeromycota. In exchange for photosynthetically fixed carbon, the fungus provides the plant host with greater access to soil nutrients via an extensive network of root-external hyphae. Here, to determine the impact of the symbiosis on the host ionome, the concentration of nineteen elements was de...
